The 2018 New American Poetry Prize EXTENDED DEADLINE: January 31, 2018.
The winning manuscript will be published and its author will receive $1,000 and 25 copies. Manuscripts should be at least 48
pages, but there is no maximum length. All forms and styles of poetry are welcome.
We read manuscripts blind, so please exclude identifying information
from the manuscript itself. All necessary contact information is
included in your Submittable record.
Final judge this year is ANDREW GRACE, author of A Belonging Field (Salt Publishing, 2001), Shadeland (Ohio State University Press, 2008) and Sancta (Ahsahta Press, 2012). His poems have appeared in Poetry, Boston Review, Iowa Review, TriQuarterly, and Prairie Schooner, among other journals and magazines. He has been a Wallace Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford and winner of an Academy of American Poets prize.
